9/2/26 - FOX 5 News: Anchor Kristina Audencial interviews Dana Williams of Hunger Action Heroes Unite! about the National Challenge that was launched on September 1, 2026. Kids in grades 4 through 9 across the country have officially been given a mission: take action against hunger and food waste for the opportunity to win a trip to Comic-Con 2027 for them and a guardian, a $750 college scholarship, a $3,000 impact grant for their school, and $1,000 to direct towards a hunger relief or food rescue organization of their choice.
