Welcome to the Hunger Action Heroes Unite! Affiliate Partner Program. These Terms and Conditions govern your participation as an affiliate. By enrolling in the program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Mission and Values

Hunger Action Heroes Unite! advances hunger relief and food rescue by equipping students, educators, and communities with engaging educational tools and meaningful opportunities to create measurable impact. Through dynamic storytelling and real-world action, we turn classrooms into forces for good and communities into hubs of impact.

Our mission is rooted in the following values:

• Collaboration:
  We team up with food banks, nonprofits, schools, and mission-driven advocates because real change takes powerful alliances.
• Compassion:
  We believe every person deserves dignity, nourishment, and the opportunity to thrive, and we lead with empathy in everything we do.
• Transparency:
  We share our impact openly, honestly, and creatively so every hero knows the difference they’re making.
• Action & Impact:
  We equip heroes with missions that move the needle, spark leadership, and create measurable change.

Affiliates must uphold and reflect these values in all promotional efforts.

2. Affiliate Responsibilities

As an Affiliate Partner, you agree to:

• Promote Hunger Action Heroes Unite! materials, programs, or products ethically and responsibly.
• Avoid misleading statements, exaggerated claims, or false advertising.
• Represent the brand in a manner consistent with our mission and community-focused values.
• Comply with all applicable laws, including data privacy, consumer protection, and digital marketing regulations.
• Ensure all communications clearly disclose your affiliate relationship, where required.

3. Affiliate Application and Approval

To join our program, you must submit a complete affiliate application. All applications are reviewed for alignment with our mission and brand standards.

Approval or denial of applications is at the sole discretion of Hunger Hunger Action Heroes Unite!, and we may request additional information before approving an applicant.

4. Marketing and Promotional Guidelines

We provide affiliates with approved resources such as logos, banners, text links, and messaging guidelines. You agree to:

• Maintain a professional, brand-aligned presence across all promotional channels.
• Represent our offerings accurately and respectfully.
• Avoid deceptive, manipulative, or misleading promotional tactics.
• Disclose all affiliate relationships in accordance with FTC guidelines.
• Refrain from unsolicited email marketing or spam.
• Avoid altering, recreating, or misusing our copyrighted or trademarked materials.
• Only use content and resources provided or approved by Hunger Action Heroes Unite!

5. Commission Structure and Payment Terms

Simple Affiliate is the platform Hunger Action Heroes Unite! use to handle tracking.

Affiliates earn commissions for qualified referred sales. A sale qualifies when:

1. A customer clicks your unique affiliate link.
2. The customer completes a purchase within 45 days of the initial click.
3. The order is not refunded, cancelled, or subject to chargeback.

Commission Payments:

• Paid monthly
• Payments are issued after the Refund Policy Period of 30 days has been fulfilled. If a sale is still within the Refund Policy Period of 30 days, the commission will roll over to the next month’s payout. For more details, please refer to the Hunger Action Heroes Unite! Refund Policy.
• Currently, no minimum balance is required to receive a payout.
• Payouts are processed via ACH. Affiliates must ensure their payout details are accurate to receive funds and avoid delays.
• NOTE: Simple Affiliate uses cookie-based and last-click attribution tracking. HAHU is not responsible for purchases that do not track due to browser settings, ad blockers, or limitations on the customer's device

5.1 Commission Rate

The commission rate for Affiliate Partners is as published in your affiliate dashboard at the time of referral. Hunger Action Heroes Unite! reserves the right to modify commission rates with notice.

5.2 Eligible Purchases

Commissions are calculated on the order subtotal, excluding shipping, taxes, discounts, and returns.

5.3 Self-Referrals

Hunger Action Heroes Unite! permits affiliates to earn commissions on their own purchases. However, excessive self-referrals made solely for the purpose of generating commission payouts may be reviewed and adjusted at the discretion of the program administrator.

5.5 Fraud Prevention

Hunger Action Heroes Unite! reserves the right to withhold or reverse commissions for fraudulent, suspicious, or ineligible transactions.

6. Prohibited Activities

Affiliates may not:

• Bid on branded or trademarked keywords in paid advertising or PPC campaigns.
• Use fraudulent, spam-like, or deceptive promotional practices.
• Misrepresent, alter, or manipulate program or product information.
• Create content or ads that impersonate Hunger Action Heroes Unite! in a misleading manner.
• Engage in any activity that harms or exploits vulnerable individuals or communities.
• Create multiple affiliate accounts, use alternate emails to bypass program rules, or refer purchases across multiple self-created accounts.

Violation of prohibited activities may result in immediate termination from the program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.

7. Program Modifications and Termination

Hunger Action Heroes Unite! reserves the right to:

• Modify these terms, the program structure, commission rates, or available resources at any time.
• Terminate the affiliate program with reasonable notice.
• Terminate an affiliate immediately for violations of this Agreement or for conduct deemed harmful to the brand, mission, or community.

Affiliates will be notified of material changes via email or the program dashboard.

8. Confidentiality

All affiliate resources, program information, analytics, internal communications, and operational data provided by Hunger Action Heroes Unite! are confidential. Affiliates agree not to share, distribute, or use such information outside the scope of this Agreement.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising from or related to this Agreement, both parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation before pursuing other legal remedies.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By joining the Hunger Action Heroes Unite! Affiliate Partner Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms, conditions, guidelines, and policies referenced in this Agreement.

11. Intellectual Property

All logos, graphics, illustrations, characters, curriculum materials, images, videos, and brand assets remain the exclusive property of Hunger Action Heroes Unite! Affiliates are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use approved promotional materials solely for marketing HAHU products. Unauthorized reproduction or modification is prohibited.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

13. Liability Limitation Clause

Hunger Action Heroes Unite! is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Affiliate Partner Program. Maximum liability shall not exceed total commissions paid to the Affiliate in the previous 12 months.
